You Get to Vote!

My god daughter, Caroline is making cookies in the shape of onesies for a baby shower and we’re going to make tags to go with them. You may remember that we collaborated on tags and cookies for her sister’s shower about 3 years ago. (To see those tags, check out this post.)

They are pretty much blue and white tags with a onesie on them! On the first tag I used In Color Designer Series Paper. I created the scalloped bottom by using the Best Badge Punch. For the middle tag, I used Dapper Denim card stock and stamped with Whisper White Craft Ink. I also used a different onesie. The tag on the right has Floral Boutique Washi Tape at the bottom. The little heart was made with the Owl Builder Punch.

So, what do you think? Tell me what you think by voting for your favorite!

Something Good To Eat!

This month’s Paper Pumpkin is called, Something Good To Eat! Isn’t that cute? The kit contains adorable little tubes and corks that you can fill up with Halloween or even Thanksgiving goodies. Each kit contains enough for 16 treats! I’m excited about that!

Here’s a video to show you all you need to know about assembly.

I’m going away for a few days at the end of the week and plan on bringing my kits with me to work on. I’ll give you a close up on my finished products. I’ve already purchased candy corn (of course) and some M & M’s I saw that are white, yellow and orange! Very fall.

Do I hear you saying that you are not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber? Oh no! Well, that can be remedied. There is a special, BOGO deal until October 10. If you are a new subscriber, pay for the first month, get the second month FREE –  my favorite price. Please be sure to name me, Dianne Keough, as your demonstrator.

Be sure to come back tomorrow. I’m making something I need opinions about and you’ll get to vote on your favorite!

Thanks,

Dianne

Little Cottage in the Woods

Little Cottage in the Woods

Were you a Girl Scout or a Brownie? If you were, you know the (annoying) song, “Little Cottage in the Woods”. And, you are probably singing it right now. Remember – cottage, little man, rabbit, knocking, etc. Well, here’s my version of Little Cottage in the Woods, minus the rabbit, hunter, etc. made with Home Sweet Home Thinlits.cottage-in-the-woods

I think my favorite part is the little window box with flowers. The flowers were made from one of the smallest dies in Botanical Builder Framelits and finished off with a pearl. The trees were cut from trees in the Perfect Pines Framelits set.

The Home Sweet Home Thinlits set is a real treasure trove. You can make all sorts of houses, spooky houses for Halloween, school houses, dog houses and gingerbread houses, in addition to little cottages. Oh, and I’ve even seen little coffins made from those thinlits!

I used the Sweet Home stamp set to create the Welcome banner over the front door. Really, no cottage is complete without a Welcome sign!

The Sweet Home stamp set and the Home Sweet Home Thinlits are also available as a bundle. Why not buy the bundle and save!
